Continue curfew
The curfew days are extended, the president of the Dominican Republic, Danilo Medina, decides to continue the curfew decree under the new decree 160-20, where he declares that it will be extended for an additional 15 days from 18 May and will change hours:
Monday - Saturday: 07:00 pm to 05:00 am
Sundays: 05:00 pm until 05:00 am
This means that the curfew is maintained from Monday May 18, 2020 until Monday , June 01, 2020 In addition, it invites the population to maintain social distancing measures and limit the exits from their homes to strictly necessary measuresto prevent the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19).
Phase 1 of the New Normality began, coexisting with Covid-19, where certain businesses (First necessity and others) are invited to reopen, maintaining the security measures required to prevent the spread, on the other hand, reported that the Recreation spaces is still restricted, public transport has also been activated, if we pass this phase successfully we will be able to enter Phase 2.
